Tropical Mas Carnival Club
Tropical Mas host a series of free community workshops at participating venues in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The workshops are designed to teach families creativity with performing art, costume making, Steel pan playing, African drumming and dancing.
From each workshop, we encourage young people to participate in Carnival – as dancers, volunteers, ambassadors and as artists. We do so by subsidising their costs of participating, for a donation of £10, £50 or more for each person, you will be supporting a young person, mainly boys, who are timid about participating in Carnival.
Workshops are usually held at
- The Link Thamesmead
- Barnfield Community Centre
- Glyndon Community Centre
- Woolwich Common Community Centre
- More venues to be added.
However, we need your help & Support this year in order to cover the cost of the venue and facilitators.
